Ingredients

  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 30 large marshmallows or 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp green food coloring
  • 4 cups cornflakes cereal
  • Red cinnamon candies or mini red M&Ms for "berries"
  • Nonstick spray or butter for hands

Instructions

Melt Butter & Marshmallows:

  • In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter.
  • Add marshmallows and stir continuously until melted and smooth.

Add Food Coloring:

  • Remove from heat and stir in green food coloring until evenly tinted.

Mix in Cornflakes:

  • Gently fold in cornflakes until fully coated in the marshmallow mixture.

Form the Wreaths:

  • Grease your hands with butter or nonstick spray.
  • Scoop small handfuls and shape into wreaths on a parchment-lined baking sheet (use your finger to create a hole in the center).

Decorate:

  • While still sticky, press 3–4 red candies onto each wreath to resemble holly berries.

Let Set:

  • Allow to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • Tip: Work quickly! The mixture sets fast as it cools.
  • Make Ahead: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Add flavor: A splash of vanilla extract or peppermint extract can enhance the holiday flair.
