- 18 whole white or cremini mushrooms stems removed and reserved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- Mushroom stems finely chopped
- ½ cup Italian breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes or dried thyme for extra flavor
Mix Ingredients:
In a bowl, combine sautéed mushroom mixture with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, cream cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly blended.
