Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • Β½ cup whole milk
  • 1 Β½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • Optional: 2 tbsp butter for extra richness

Instructions

Prepare the Pan:

  • Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease if desired.

Cook the Sugar Mixture:

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and milk.
  • Stir constantly until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture comes to a gentle boil.
  • Boil for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Add Peanut Butter & Flavor:
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in peanut butter, vanilla extract, salt, and butter (if using) until smooth and fully incorporated.

Set the Fudge:

  • Quickly pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.

Cut and Serve:

  • Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang.
  • Cut into small squares with a sharp knife.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.
