- 8 oz 225g white chocolate, finely chopped
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp orange extract or 1–2 tsp orange liqueur, optional
- 1 tbsp orange zest from 1 medium orange
- Pinch of salt
- Optional coating: powdered sugar shredded coconut, or white chocolate for dipping
Make the Truffle Base:
In a small saucepan, heat the cream and butter over low heat until just simmering (do not boil).
Pour over chopped white chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 2–3 minutes to melt.
Stir until smooth. Add orange zest, orange extract, and salt. Mix well.
Shape the Truffles:
Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to portion the mixture into 1-inch balls.
Roll quickly between your palms to smooth.
Optional: roll truffles in powdered sugar, coconut, or dip in melted white chocolate.
