Ingredients
For the Cake Layer:

box chocolate cake mix
or homemade chocolate cake
Ingredients required for the cake mix
eggs, oil, water
For the Pudding Layer:

3.9-ounce box chocolate pudding mix

cold milk
For the Whipped Layer:

whipped cream or Cool Whip

teaspoon
vanilla extract
For the Decorations & Toppings:

crushed Oreo cookies

cup
Halloween sprinkles

cup
candy corn
½
cup
gummy worms

chocolate chips

Instructions
✔ Bake the Cake
Prepare the chocolate cake according to the package instructions. Let it cool completely, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
✔ Make the Pudding
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Let it set for 5 minutes.
✔ Prepare the Whipped Layer
If using homemade whipped cream, beat heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
✔ Assemble the Trifle
In a large trifle dish or individual cups, start with a layer of chocolate cake cubes.
Spread a layer of chocolate pudding over the cake.
Add a layer of whipped cream.
Sprinkle some crushed Oreos and Halloween sprinkles.
Repeat the layers until the dish is filled.
✔ Decorate & Serve
Top with gummy worms, candy corn, and chocolate chips. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Enjoy your spooky treat! 🎃👻
Notes
Substitute vanilla pudding for a color contrast.
Use green or orange-tinted whipped cream for extra Halloween flair.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
